Ryan was a Canadian writer for a soap opera in the states. He had conference calls for meetings and never really had to leave his home for his long distance job. Not every writer had the talent that ryan had, and he was very much envied for it. but unfortunately no one had a clue of the secret of his success was. Ryan was a professional peeping tom. That's right how else could he get real life scandel and problems people could relate to then from the mouths of the everyday viewers. He had purposely lived in high rises for his career he had the best surevelance equipment and private dick would envy him for.

What ryan was doing was unscruplious and wrong but after the first year of it after being fired from the editing job at readers digest he found it addicting to his shattered world.
ryan 5 years ago was a editor for readers digest, unfortunatle he got fired or as they called it replaced on the corprate ladder. he did everything right , always followed the rules and took pride in beig a writer or editor in a well known company.
after he was fired ryan had a nervous breakdown and during that breakdown he was offered a job from a friend as one of the writers ot a soap opera in the states. He was going to say no when he noticed a fight happening in the condo accross from him. the man was going to kill that poor womanthe way he was hurting her so he called the police after he told his freind he'd call him back.
he watched in horoor as the police barely made it in time, the ambulence was called and she was in the hospital for 3 months. Ryan visited her everyday and they became close freinds. when he went home after the first visit to the hospital he felt a sudden charge of exhileration. He helped someone and as he looked for it seemed like the first time at the other windows he observed how much he was missing. At that moment he picked up the phone accepted the job and that was the start of his voyerism fetish.
ryan was paid more than any other writer in the company, he felt that his once goody 2 shoes bit in his last job got him nothing but a severence pay and a deminishing carreer, but this job he was powerful.
He even got contracted out for other hiring jobs, the demand for his skills grew as the years went by. ryan told me he had no remorse for spying on people because it saved that freind of his and got him a job where he felt on top of the world.
